Following on from the original B5 RS4 with its 2.7 Bi-turbo V6 produced from 1999 to 2001, the 2nd generation RS4 was built on the B7 platform by Quattro GmbH between 2006 and 2008. Unlike the B5 RS4 which was available only in Avant form, the B7 was made available in Avant, Saloon and Cabriolet flavours, with the main difference being the move to an all-new 4.2 naturally aspirated V8 power train which upped power from 375bhp in the B5 to 414bhp in the B7 and which redlined at an astonishing 8000rpm.

Externally, this 2007 RS4 comes finished in classic Phantom Black which is in superb condition with no major marks, set off by the classic 19” Double Spoke RS Alloy Wheels finished in OEM Silver and complemented by the signature RS Satin Silver mirror covers. The car benefits from a Milltek sports exhaust which adds a bit more burble to the engine sound whilst remaining acceptably subtle, improves engine efficiency and also looks the part.

Inside, the RS is finished in black leather and features the superb optional RS Sports Seats which offer superb support and add to the driver focused experience. The car has the carbon trim package along with an electric tilt n slide sunroof and BOSE sound.
The infotainment system has been brought up to date with a pioneer SPH-DA250 DAB head unit which offers Apple car Play, DAB radio and Bluetooth technology to the cabin in a package which fits in perfectly with the cars factory architecture.

On the road, this RS4 does not disappoint, the engine pulls beautifully through the rev range, the clutch is light and the 6 speed manual transmission a joy to use.
