DESCRIPTION:
CSC offer for sale this last year of production, 1990 Escort RS turbo which has been extremely well cared for over the last 27 years. The body work presents beautifully with barely a blemish and the period interior remains in full working and excellent condition. The body work and shell so no signs of the dreaded rust or poor repair work which effects many un-loved examples, and mechanically, the car benefits from a complete engine re-build less than 5,000 miles ago.

HISTORY:
This RS turbo was first registered on 5th January 1990 at Peoples Ford in Liverpool. The car was purchased by the current owner in May 2010 from a local friend with the car having covered 89,500 miles and just undergone the engine re-build.

The engine Re-build included the following:-

*Cylinder head re-conditioned
*Re-bore and new pistons
*New bearings (ACL)
*New gaskets and bolts
*New cam shaft & followers
*New timing belt
*New water pump
*New oil pump
*T3 turbo re-build (by Doug Sport)

The car has had light use only in the hands of the current owner having covered just 4,000 miles in almost 8 years of ownership. The car has clearly been cared for over many years and remains in excellent condition.

The car is HPi clear and the current MOT is valid until the 26th September 2018.

A large file contains various service and maintenance receipts dating back to 1996 along with most of the old MOT certificates. The also car comes with spare keys and the original Ford owners wallet containing the various Hand Books.
