DESCRIPTION:
We present for sale this beautifully presented, concourse prepared classic Sierra RS Cosworth from 1987 finished in classic ford diamond white.
The car has been with its current owner for over 14 years having been bought the car as a multiple concourse trophy winning show car. The Cosworth was used sparingly as a weekend car for several years before subsequently taken off the road and put into storage in 2010 when a growing family took priority.
 
In 2016, the owner decided to return the car to the road, but only after bringing it back to its former concourse condition and so started an in depth re-commissioning including a complete chassis, engine and gearbox restoration at great time and financial expense leaving no stone unturned (see the details below).
 
The results speak for themselves, and the car is now once again presented in simply stunning condition along with an engine which has covered little more than a running in period. The car also drives every bit as well as it looks.

HISTORY:
This RS Cosworth was first registered on 18th December 1986 at Bristol Street Motors in Bromley, Kent.
 
The car was concourse prepared and shown extensively on the RS scene in the early 90’s by its then owner and RS owners club member, and was awarded multiple ‘best of show’ trophy’s etc. along the way.
 
The car has been with the current owner, a specialist Porsche project manager since 10th May 2003 and was used as a summer weekend car before being taken of the road and placed into storage in 2010 when opportunities to use the car became scarce due to young family commitments.
 
In 2016, the owner set about returning the Cosworth back to its concourse condition including a full engine and chassis overhaul replacing or re-conditioning most major parts from front to back.
 
The recently current MOT is valid until the 26th July 2018 and shows no advisory points.
 
The car is HPi clear a copy of which is available with the car which comes with 2 keys plus a wheel locking key, its original Ford owner’s manuals & service book and an original RS Cosworth brochure.
