A classic non-sunroof, 2 wheel drive, manual transmission coupe with sensible mileage and a fantastic service history record showing no less than 16 service stamps. The genuine GT3 style Aero-Kit and alloy wheels make the car stand out from the crowd and give the car real presence on the road.

The car is in very nice condition throughout and thankfully retains the majority of its original early features including the 993 steering wheel fitted to the early cars, which so often have been swapped for later items.

The car drives impeccably with light but precise controls which make getting behind the wheel an absolute pleasure. The engine is quiet and smooth at idle and pulls strongly in each gear with plenty of low down torque and strong acceleration higher in the rev range. These early water cooled cars offer a very analogue driving experience compared to the later models with very few driver aids, and old fashioned controls such as a cable operated throttle and hydraulic power steering. This is a true and pure modern classic 911.

HISTORY:
The car was first registered on the 26th January 1998 locally to us at Porsche Centre Wilmslow (known as Stratstone Wilmslow at the time) and was maintained by Porsche main agents until 2002. The history then shows regular (usually annually) maintenance by recognised independent Porsche specialists.

The Service book shows 16 service stamps and an accompanying file includes service and maintenance receipts, MOTs and general history paperwork over the cars life. The car was last services by a well-known specialist in July, just 300 miles ago and the current MOT is valid until August 2017 and shows no advisory points. The car is also HPi clear.
