DESCRIPTION:
CSC are excited to offer for sale this pristine 997 turbo S with a rather large ‘sting’ in the tale. With just 1 owner and 13,000 miles from new, this rare 911 turbo offers a one off ownership opportunity. Presented in white with complementing Black and Crema two tone leather interior this car is virtually blemish free thank to its fastidious mature owner who has maintained (and upgraded) the car with absolutely no expense spared.
The paintwork, interior and 19’’ centre lock alloy wheels are all unmarked and blemish free.

At the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show Porsche announced the revised (gen II) 997 turbo. This saw a completely new 3.8 litre flat six engine with revised variable geometry twin- turbo chargers and direct fuel injection giving an output of 493bhp, up 20bhp on the previous model. A 7 speed PDK dual clutch transmission replaced the previous auto models Tiptronic S gearbox and chassis improvements included revised suspension and four wheel drive system.

In March 2010, the more powerful turbo S was launched. This ‘S’ (for Sport) model would only be available with PDK transmission, Ceramic Composite Brakes and Sports Chronograph package. Power was upped by 30bhp to 523bhp helped by revised valve timing and a carbon fibre air box.

The turbo S was Porsche’s fastest car to date alongside the then GT2 RS with a 0 – 62 time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 196mph. Build numbers were limited to 2000 car (with it is believed) just 350 coming to the UK.

This particular example has been owned by the current fastidious owner from new. Starting out with an exhaust upgrade and a mild re-map, the car eventually went to renowned tuning company and Porsche speed record holders ES Motors in Milton Keynes for fitment of their ES700 (Stage 4) Power upgrade kit enabling the owner access to the 200mph club!.

With power now up to 672bhp at the wheels, we can only describe the end result as ‘Weapons Grade’ and certainly not for the faint hearted!!

Usually, when such a car has been so substantially ‘tweaked’, you imagine bits of trim hacked at, random wires going to additional complicated looking aftermarket switches and buttons etc. i.e. a bit of a mess. This is simply not the case here. Inside the cabin there is nothing obvious to hint at the brutal modifications. Only the Sport Chrono clock has been changed and replaced with a specially designed methanol injection gauge.

Externally the car is as it left the factory, with no aftermarket styling additions, big silly wheels etc., just factory fresh gleaming white paintwork, the front section of which has been professionally wrapped in clear Paint Protection Film (PPF).

Even opening the engine lid doesn’t shout ‘tuned’ to the average passer-by as it retains a factory look. Only the knowing minority will spot the upgraded intercooler pipework and then start to look more closely! The most obvious visual part of the upgrade system is the methanol dual storage tank which is located in the front luggage compartment, but even this is a beautifully executed fitment as you would expect from such a professional and (let’s be honest) expensive set up.

The Factory paintwork has received a GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum composite ceramic coating and Clear Paint Protection film has been applied to the front sections of the car for stone chip protection.

In October 2017, the owner sent the car to Renowned Porsche tuners ES Motor in Milton Keynes for fitment of their custom ES700 (Stage 4) Power upgrade kit at a cost of around almost £15,000.

A photographic record was kept of the conversion work and the end results are simply staggering, with output upped from the standard 523bhp to 672bhp at the wheels offering a sub 3 second sprint from 0 to 62mph and a top speed of well over 200mph. More importantly, the mid-range power delivery is mind-bending and endless whilst smooth thanks to the upgraded PDK ECU.

The car has been set up so that there are 3 levels of performance available to the driver. These are accessed via the OEM Sport and Sport Plus switches as per the standard car so that power levels can be set to suit the road conditions and drivers requirements. The owner found the whole ES Motor service and experience a delight and has never had any issue with the car following the upgrade work.

The car comes with a COBB tuning Accessport V3 which can be used for switching the engine and PDK Mapping modes further if the owner requires. Ultimately, the ES700 kit is a ‘bolt on’ upgrade and so can be reversed at any point should any future owner one day decide to return the car to standard spec.

The car comes with a substantial quantity of methanol and Octane Boost to keep the new owner going for the foreseeable.
